Dennis O’Neil, born on August 29, 1981,  was the son of a former American soldier and a Korean mother. In South Korea, he is also known as Dennis Oh.

O’Neil appeared in the MBC miniseries Sweet Spy and has appeared in commercials in China, Hong Kong, and Singapore. He plays a mysterious spy in the drama who finds love in a regular female cop.

O’Neil began modeling at the age of 16, and in 2005, he was named the 22nd Korean model “Best Dressed.” He appeared in one episode of Melrose Place, which aired in 2009. He also appeared in the Chinese film Papa in 2016.

He has fans in various countries, including China, South Korea, and Thailand.

At the Savannah College of Art and Design in Savannah, Georgia, O’Neil majored in photography. He is an artist who enjoys traveling, drawing, and photography.

Sweet Spy (2005-2006)

Sweet Spy is a South Korean tv series starring Nam Sang-mi, Yoo Sun, Lee Joo-Hyun, and Dennis Oh, the Korean-American model-turned-actor. It aired on MBC for 20 episodes from November 7, 2005, to January 10, 2006.

The series begins with Lee Soon-ae, a newly widowed traffic cop who sees herself over her head after stopping a man for a minor traffic infraction. Han Yoo-il, the charming and mysterious stranger, apprehended by the ever-vigilant Soon-ae, is an international spy on a top-secret mission in Korea.

When Soon-ae forgets to return Yoo-super il’s high-tech spy pen, she sets in things in motion that drag her into the murky world of international espionage. Soon after, the Special Operations Unit, including its new chief Kang Joon,  an old friend of Soon ae’s late husband, becomes involved.

Kang Joon, who secretly has feelings for Soon-ae, reopens an old case involving her husband’s death. They discover secrets involving powerful economic and political figures, leading them to Han Yoo-il.

Witch Yoo Hee (2007)

Witch Yoo Hee is a story about a career woman Ma Yoo Hee who seems to have it all, and a young man named Chae Mu-Ryong, who hasn’t given up on his dreams of becoming a professional chef. Their romance begins with Mu-Ryong’s measures to learn French fusion cooking and his ambition to become a top chef.

Yoo-hee transforms her appearance from head to toe thanks to Mu-Ryong’s guidance. She is also taught how to act like an attractive woman, and she begins to attract the affections of men, allowing her to fall in love as she has always desired.

East of Eden (2008)

East of Eden is a South Korean television series that premiered in 2008 and starred Song Seung-Heon, Lee Da-Hae, Yeon Jung-hoon, Park Hae-Jin, Han Ji-Hye, and Lee Yeon-Hee. Chorokbaem Media produced it as a 47th Anniversary Special MBC Project Drama, which aired on Mondays and Tuesdays for 56 episodes from August 25, 2008, to March 10, 2009.

The 25 billion drama follows the brothers Dong-Wook (Yeon) and Dong-Chul (Song). Following the murder of their coal miner father, their paths diverge, with one becoming a successful lawyer and the other joining the mob.

Fall in Love (2011)

The Next Top Star (2019)

The Next Top Star tells the story of a woman who enters show business at 30 and achieves overnight fame, only to discover that surviving the stiff competition may be more difficult than she imagined.

Gui Mi (Li Xinyue) becomes known as the “hot search queen” after appearing on a reality show despite being deemed too old. Her rise to fame opens doors, but it also brings a slew of conspiracies and schemes to bring her down. Gui Mi works hard to confront this arena as a true queen in the industry to survive.

A Thousand Miles of Mansions (2021)

It follows the development of students at Binghua University’s Department of Architecture.

Pei Renzhi (Zhang Tian Ai) is a humorous, sweet, and talented university architectural student. Because of an “exhibitionist” campus incident, she develops a negative impression of well-known actor Chi Ruofei (Dennis Oh), the heir to SE Group.

Korean-Americans star in Hype Nation 3D. The film “Hype Nation” is produced by Jason Lee (Daniel Shin). He cast top idol stars in the film and had it co-produced by a big Hollywood studio. Lee’s personal life has not been revealed, and he remains an enigma.

Then, at the same time, a missing person and a fraud incident involving the producer are reported to the police station. Jason Lee vanishes, and the police begin to piece together his life with small clues. As the case progresses, more mystery emerges, and  Jason Lee reappears.

Papa (2016)

Papa is a Chinese family comedy-drama film directed by Xiao Zheng and starring Xia Yu. The Chinese film was shot in Las Vegas and Los Angeles and was released theatrically in China and the US on the same day.

In the film, a blundering Chinese talent manager travels to Los Angeles to find his singer, who has fled to elope in the middle of a tour. Instead of reuniting with his singer, his futile efforts result in an arranged marriage with five adopted children and an enraged boss demanding his investment back. Papa learns a valuable lesson about what it means to be a family while on his quest to reclaim his fortune and fame.

The film’s plot is much like the 2012 South Korean film also titled Papa.

Pegasus: On the Brink (2019)

In this film, the United States of Oceania’s President decides to launch a nuclear strike to destroy the Obedience Federation in ten days. Dr. Young obtains this top-secret memo.

The President instructs Captain Sam Payne to compel the doctor to commit suicide to avoid a leak. Everyone is curious to see if all seemingly intractable and complex issues can be resolved.
